Helios Events was founded by Syphan Richard, who has been part of Barcelona’s event scene since 2019. When the company he worked for closed during the pandemic, he made a decision that defined everything that followed. He chose not to walk away from the industry he loved, and built something of his own.

In June 2022, Helios Events was born. Starting with a single idea, a premium catamaran party open to the public, he quickly built what became Barcelona’s reference for high-end private sailing experiences. Over the following years, the Catamaran Experience grew into a signature format, recognised across the city and followed by a growing community on Instagram.

But something else was happening alongside. The cocktail evenings, the rooftop privatisations, the multi-day Spring Break programmes in five-star venues were attracting a different kind of attention. Company directors. Team managers. People who wanted exactly this, but for their organisations.

The requests became too consistent to ignore. In 2026, Helios Events dedicates itself entirely to the corporate world, while the spirit of its original experiences lives on under a new identity.

Today, we bring to every corporate client what four years spent building one of Barcelona’s most distinctive event brands have given us. A deep knowledge of the city, a network of exclusive venues that most cannot access, and a genuine understanding of what makes a moment truly unforgettable.
